At Grandview Family Dental, Dr. Paul Dowhos and Dr.Trevor Kam and their team are dedicated to ensuring that their patients receive the best dental care possible. Dr. Paul Dowhos, DMD

Dr. Paul Dowhos graduated from the University of Manitoba, Faculty of Dentistry, in 1992. He currently maintains a general practice in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and holds hospital privileges at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

In 2005, he completed the Dental Millennium Aesthetics Program in the Niagara Region, and in 2013, he became DOC Certified in Oral Sedation Dentistry.

Dr. Dowhos has been actively involved with the Thunder Bay Dental Association, where he has held every executive position and served as President in 2011. He currently serves as Secretary of the Thunder Bay Dental Study Club. He is a member in good standing with the:

• Ontario Dental Association
• American Academy of General Dentistry
• Thunder Bay Dental Association
• Thunder Bay Dental Study Club

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Dowhos enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, and scuba diving. He is also a licensed pilot who regularly flies various aircraft. In addition, he is a recent award-winning sprinter at the Ontario and Canadian Masters Track and Field Championships and an honoured member of the 2025 Athletics Manitoba Hall of Fame.

Dr. Trevor Kam

Dr. Trevor Kam is proud to call Thunder Bay his home. He is originally from Edmonton, Alberta where he received his Bachlor degree in Science (major Psychology, minor biology) from the University of Alberta. He relocated to Thunder Bay in 1992 after graduating from the University of Iowa with a Doctor of Dental Surgery. He is a member of:

• Academy of General Dentistry
• Thunder Bay Dental Association
• Thunder Bay Dental Study Club

In the Thunder Bay Dental Association he has held all the executive positions. He was a President of the Thunder Bay Dental Association in 2010. He is also a researcher for the Clinical Research Associates organization, a highly respected international dental product evaluation group.

In his spare time he enjoys reading, going to the gym, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his wife Debbie, three dogs and one cat.
